A different setup may result in a different communication performance levels including:
• Mobile device
• OBD-II ELM327 (Bluetooth) adapter
• Car with OBD-II protocol
Test whether your setup is suitable or there is a need to try different components in order to run Potenza Drive application.
TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION): Perform a regular speed communication.
TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION): Perform the fastest allowed type of communication. Only supported by some vehicle's OBD-II protocols.
¹ ISO 15765-4 CAN is the only OBD-II protocol capable of providing up to 65 parameters per second. Older OBD-II protocols can provide in the worst case scenario only 5 parameters per second.
