Minerals Center is an identify and search app for mineral diggers rockhounds and collectors. The key feature in this app is the identifier where the app can recognize a mineral crystal or rock on a given photo.

Minerals can also be searched on the most of the characteristics and they can be placed on a personal checklist.

The mineral search function has the ability to search by the mineral's crystal system colors lustres and the name.

This is what you van expect from the identify function:

- A crystal can be recognized pretty accurate because of the defined shapes and colors
- Minerals are a bit harder to identify but based on colors and shapes the app can recognize the mineral and look-a-likes
- Stones and rocks are way harder to identify accurately because they have unlimited amounts of shapes and colors because they are combinations of extracted minerals.

When the identify function does not meet up with the expectations try to set up a black or white background for the mineral crystal or rock to identify and use the zoom and crop function to focus on the most typical part.
