In Shanghai Rummy the objective is simple defeat your opponents by finishing all 7 contract hands with the lowest score. What makes this game so fun is that each contract hand gets more challenging and your opponents more determined to Shanghai you and lock in the lead!

Backstory:

Its your first day aboard the ship and the pirate crew looks menacing and eager to be off on the treasure hunt. You however are just excited to be aboard and apart of the adventure. As the ship sails out of port a burly pirate with a massive beard approaches you with a grin. "Ahoy! Ye ready ta prove yer worth stowaway?" he bellows. To this you reply "Aye ready! What be it you have in mind?" trying hard to sound as tough as possible. "Ow a bit of cards to pass the time at sea with I and a few me mateys." he exclaims with a chuckle and a wink. Your curiosity is peaked "What be the wager sir?". "Bronze silver and gold doubloons o'course now lets play!"
