Bonsai ( Japanese 盆栽 ) the art of growing an exact replica of a real tree in miniature. Growth of plants is regulated by a flat root system.

Developed this art and Buddhists who believed that a man growing a bonsai is equated with God because in their vision the world looks like a Buddha's garden where he is a gardener.

Now for bonsai ordinary trees are used they become small due to constant cropping and various other methods. In this case the ratio of the size of the root system limited by the volume of the plate and the ground portion of the bonsai corresponds to the proportions of the adult tree in nature.
