1. this app is for EXPERT users able to manage more than 100 options and having the PATIENCE to consult up to 23 YouTube videos in ENGLISH or italian! If you are not expert DO NOT download it or if you download it anyway and then you are not able to use it at least AVOID WRITING BAD REVIEWS I WARNED you and read point 2 to understand why it would be AGAINST YOUR OWN INTEREST!
2. this app is really GOOD GRATIS and NO-ADS we all BENEFIT from the existence of well-made and free apps they are RARE let's PRESERVE them otherwise tomorrow we could PAY for WORSE apps! 3. if my app do not read notifications when the DISPLAY is NOT LIT the cause is the POWER SAVING PROCEDURES of your smartphone!!! Look at my YouTube video 1a for suggestions!
APP DESCRIPTION
"Free notification reader" is a very useful application that reads vocalizing notifications in place of the user whether they are emails SMS messages or Whatsapp messages or more generally any notification generated by an app that we have selected.
The application is completely free. The level of customization is very good in fact allows you to choose which applications to receive notifications to read / vocalize set the "sleep" mode (which disables it during night hours) set the "private" mode (vocalizes the sender but not the message for example when we are in the car together with other people) set the call alerts (vocalizes who is calling us by phone) receive notifications on the battery status (vocalizes the state of charge of the battery when it falls below 20 %) and many other options yet. If we are listening to music it automatically reduces the volume of the same for the time necessary to read and vocalize the notification.
This application can be very useful in cars or even in those jobs where you can not hold the phone in your hands for different reasons.
WIDGET: uses the very useful WIDGET dedicated if you usually enable and disable your "notifier". You can find it in the widget section of your smartphone under the same name of the App. Press the button at the top left of the widget to switch from enabled to disabled and vice versa press the "Open" button to display the "notifier". The background of the widget is GREEN if enabled RED if disabled ORANGE if the general volume is at zero.
IMPORTANT NOTE: "Notification reader free" uses the native notification features of Android which are present from Android 4.4 so it can NOT work on devices with lower Android versions.
