Never get more speeding tickets for driving
too fast.
Too fast driving is prevented by an optical and additionally by an acoustic system. This warning system is individually configurable. There are several display variants available.
The app works either fully automatically. For this OSM data is used. Or you can use the manual mode with the private database. This saves all self-set maximum speeds along with the positions. The next time you pass through these places then the display automatically switches. These points can also be easily deleted or changed. So the app works anywhere in the world. Wrong or missing tempo information is a thing of the past.
In the setup you can download the databases of different countries. The area of Germany / Austria / Switzerland is currently being updated once a week. With an additional tool (download on the homepage) you can generate any data from all countries of the world. With the integrated FTP connection storage on the Android device is easy. The manual belongs to the download of the tool. It is available in German and English.
Particularities
Display of the currently driven speed. Display of the permissible maximum speed of the currently traveled road. Evaluation of the comparison of the two displays by changing the background color of the speedometer. The data rates are used by the OpenStreetMap (OSM) for the maximum permissible speeds. These data are converted into a special format. Very low battery consumption (without using another app).
The app works without data connection while driving. It works immediately after starting as soon as the GPS signal is present. You can start immediately after crossing the first point with a speed information is displayed. In addition to this app you can also start any other app (for example a navigation app such as MapFactor Navigator in full-screen mode however this option is eliminated). In addition to the maxspeed tag the app also evaluates the maxspeed: forward and maxspeed: backward tags (typical application for example the area of railway barriers where different speeds often apply in different directions). Highways without speed limits will be displayed with the sign "all prohibitions lifted". Areas with variable speed information are signaled by a flashing speed sign (the current speeds can not be displayed due to the system). For the last two display variants the app only acts as a precise GPS speedometer. The change in the maximum permissible speed is announced in German or English (can be switched off). In addition to exceeding the permissible maximum speed the subsequent undershooting of this limit is signaled acoustically (time delay adjustable). The tolerance for exceeding the permissible speed is freely adjustable.
The OSM database update option can only be made available as long as the OSM service is freely available. If this data becomes unavailable the app will continue to work with the database frozen or in manual mode with the private database.
This version works for 14 days without restrictions. After that some restrictions will take effect. The tolerance until the warning is fixed at 5 km / h. The scale of the vertical / horizontal overlay is fixed at 100%. The changes to the maximum speed is no longer announced. The updating of the OSM data is only possible manually with the help of a tool (see homepage for the app) manual mode with private database HUD mode and the digital tachometer are removed
These restrictions do not apply to the Pro version which can be purchased after the trial period in the setup menu.
