The Police Search Warrant Guide is an application that aids police officers across the country in the writing execution and service of search warrants subpoenas and preservation letters. In today's world officers cannot afford to miss information on social media sites or electronic devices. Evidence that helps solve and solidify crimes are contained in these devices and/or websites. This app has a comprehensive directory with over 50 of the most commonly used companies in United States (Facebook Instagram Twitter Snapchat Google ect.). In the directory users will find the address contact information and service instructions for each organization. In addition if the company has any additional guidelines or rules for service those will be listed in the company directory as well.

For users who are inexperienced in writing search warrants there is an "Examples" tab. In this tab there are instructions on how to structure your search warrant as well as language used in each section of your legal document. There are also examples of how to write different types of search warrants such as warrants seeking: narcotics phone records and Facebook records etc.

This application also allows users to log their search warrant results directly into the app in case their necessary paperwork is not nearby. There is also a shortcut to the phone's camera and camcorder to take photos and record video immediately without having to close the application. Once you take the photograph or video of your evidence you will be returned back to the log. You will never need to leave the application to use these features. An officer can continue to log found property while photographing or recording the scene either for evidence or for their report at a later time.
