Allen vollversicherten Kunden steht zusätzlich die elektronische Gesundheitsakte (eGA) zur Verfügung. Diese bieten wir Ihnen in Zusammenarbeit mit der IBM Deutschland GmbH kostenlos an. In der eGA können Sie wichtige Gesundheitsdaten wie Impfpässe Röntgenbilder oder Arztbriefe erfassen So haben Sie immer schnellen Zugang zu Ihren Gesundheitsinformationen — weltweit und jederzeit.
Zusätzlich können Sie die Behandlungsdaten der letzten 4 Jahre direkt bei der Central anfordern und in Ihre eGA übertragen lassen – die sogenannte Leistungshistorie.
Selbstverständlich ist die Nutzung der eGA freiwillig und entspricht modernstem Datenschutz: Sie bestimmen welche Informationen Sie verwalten wollen. Ihre Daten werden verschlüsselt auf deutschen Servern gespeichert.
Die eGA befindet sich aktuell noch im Beta-Status und wird kontinuierlich um neue Funktionen ergänzt zum Beispiel: Daten von Ärzten und Krankenhäusern direkt empfangen Medikationspläne erfassen und Empfehlungen für Vorsorgeuntersuchungen erhalten.

Über die App eingereichte Rechnungen müssen Sie nicht zusätzlich per Post an die Central senden. Die Central behält sich jedoch das Recht vor eingereichte Rechnungen im Einzelfall gesondert zur Prüfung anzufordern; daher sollten Sie Ihre Originalrechnungen mindestens sechs Monate aufbewahren.
Für die Nutzung der Central GesundheitsApp ist ein bestehender Versicherungsschutz bei der Central Krankenversicherung AG notwendig. Voraussetzung für die Nutzung der App ist eine einmalige Registrierung mit Ihrer Versicherungsnummer. Um Belege aus der App an die Central senden zu können benötigen Sie eine Internetverbindung (z.B. W-LAN oder mobile Datenverbindung). Die Kosten für die Datenübertragung beim Rechnungsversand richten sich nach den Tarifen Ihres Netz-Anbieters.
Erfahrungsgemäß können Sie alle Funktionen der Central GesundheitsApp nutzen wenn das Gerät folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllt:
- garantierte Unterstützung der letzten drei Android Versionen
- Arbeitsspeicher: mindestens 11 Gigabyte oder mehr
Wenn der Arbeitsspeicher Ihres Smartphones oder Tablets kleiner als 11 Gigabyte ist können Sie die GesundheitsApp nicht installieren.
- Kameraauflösung: mindestens 8 Megapixel. Bei Kameras mit einer geringeren Auflösung steht die Fotofunktion nicht zur Verfügung. Alle anderen Funktionen der GesundheitsApp sollten Sie voll und ganz nutzen können.
Wir bitten um Ihr Verständnis dass wir nicht garantieren können dass jedes Gerät kompatibel mit der App ist.
Shrink your health insurance to pocket size. With the Central Health App you always have the most important services of the Central.
Submit all receipts quickly and easily with your smartphone or tablet: take a photo of the receipt and transfer it safely to Central with the health app. You will receive the billing directly in the app.
All important information about your contract can be found under "My insurance cover". So you always know exactly which benefits are insured.
All fully insured customers also have the electronic health record (eGA) at their disposal. We offer these in cooperation with the IBM Germany GmbH for free. The eGU enables you to record important health data such as vaccination certificates x-rays or medical reports. This way you always have fast access to your health information - worldwide and at any time.
In addition you can request the treatment data for the past 4 years directly from Central and have it transferred to your eGA - the so-called performance history.
Of course the use of the eGa is voluntary and corresponds to the most modern data protection: You determine which information you want to manage. Your data is stored encrypted on German servers.
The eGA is currently still in beta status and is continuously being supplemented with new functions for example: receiving data directly from doctors and hospitals recording medication plans and receiving recommendations for preventive medical examinations.

Note
You do not need to send bills submitted via the app to Central by post. However Central reserves the right to request invoices submitted separately for examination on a case-by-case basis; therefore you should keep your original invoices for at least six months.
For the use of the Central GesundheitsApp an existing insurance protection with the central health insurance AG is necessary. Prerequisite for the use of the app is a one-time registration with your insurance number. To send receipts from the app to the Central you need an internet connection (for example W-LAN or mobile data connection). The costs for the data transmission during the invoice dispatch depend on the tariffs of your net offerer.
Experience has shown that you can use all functions of the Central HealthApp if the device fulfills the following requirements:
- Guaranteed support of the last three Android versions
- Memory: at least 1.1 gigabytes or more
If your smartphone or tablet's memory is less than 1.1 gigabytes you will not be able to install the health app.
- Camera resolution: at least 8 megapixels. For cameras with a lower resolution the photo function is not available. You should be able to fully use all other functions of the HealthApp.
We ask for your understanding that we can not guarantee that every device is compatible with the app.
