عن الكتاب :
كتاب تفسير لمعاني القرآن اشترك فيه كل من جلال الدين المحلي وجلال الدين السيوطي في تأليفه، فابتدأ المحلي تفسيره من سورة الكهف إلى سورة الناس، ثم الفاتحة، فوافته المنيَّة قبل إتمامه، فأتمَّه السيوطي، فابتدأ من سورة البقرة إلى سورة الإسراء.
والكتاب يتميز بأنه:
- مختصر موجز العبارة، أشبه ما يكون بالمتن.
- يذكر فيه الراجح من الأقوال.
- يذكر وجوه الإعراب والقراءات باختصار.
ومما يؤخذ عليه:
- أنه لا يعزو الأحاديث إلى مصادرها غالباً.
- ذكر بعض المعاني من الإسرائيليات دون تنبيه.
- عليه بعض المؤخذات العقدية منها تأويل الصفات.
المؤلفان :
السيوطي
عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر بن محمد ابن سابق الدين الخضيري السيوطي، جلال الدين إمام حافظ مؤرخ أديب. له نحو 600 مصنف، ولد سنة (849 هـ) ونشأ في القاهرة يتيما (مات والده وعمره خمس سنوات) ولما بلغ أربعين سنة اعتزل الناس، وخلا بنفسه في روضة المقياس، على النيل، منزويا عن أصحابه جميعا، كأنه لا يعرف أحدا منهم، فألف أكثر كتبه. وكان الأغنياء والأمراء يزورونه ويعرضون عليه الأموال والهدايا فيردها. وطلبه السلطان مرارا فلم يحضر إليه، وأرسل إليه هدايا فردها. وبقي على ذلك إلى أن توفي سنة (911 هـ).
جلال الدين المحلي
محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن إبراهيم المحلي الشافعي: أصولي، مفسر. ولد بالقاهرة سنة (791 هـ) عرفه ابن العماد بتفتازاني العرب. وكان مهيبا صداعا بالحق، يواجه بذلك الظلمة الحكام، ويأتون إليه، فلا يأذن لهم. وعرض عليه القضاء فامتنع. توفي في القاهرة سنة (864 هـ).

A book of interpretation of the meanings of the Qur’an in which both Jalal al-Din al-Ma’aliyyah and Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti participated in his authorship so the local began his interpretation from Surat al-Kahf to Surat al-Nas then al-Fatihah and he passed away the semen before its completion.
The book is distinguished as:
- Brief synopsis similar to the text.
It mentions the most correct of the sayings.
Briefly mention object of expression and readings.
And what is taken from it:
He does not often attribute hadiths to their sources.
He mentioned some meanings of the Israeli women without warning.
- It has some nodal errors including the interpretation of attributes.

Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn سابقAbd al-Din al-Khudayri al-Suyuti Jalal al-Din Imam Hafez is a historian and writer. He has about 600 workbooks he was born in the year (849 AH) and grew up in Cairo as an orphan (his father died at the age of five years) and when he reached forty years the people retired and he was alone in Rawdat Al-Muqayyas on the Nile away from all his companions as if he does not know any of them so he More books. The rich and the princes visited him and offered him money and gifts and he returned them. The Sultan requested him repeatedly but he did not come to him and he sent gifts to him and he replied. He remained on that until he died in the year (911 AH).
Jalaluddin Local
Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Mughli al-Shafii: fundamentalist interpreted. He was born in Cairo in the year (791 AH). Ibn al-Imad introduced him to Taftazani al-Arab. It was a majestic headache of truth confronted with that darkness by rulers and they came to him so he would not authorize them. He was offered the judiciary and he abstained. He died in Cairo in the year (864 AH).
