AndTheClock is a simple live wallpaper app which can easily be adapted to your own demands and personal taste. It shows the actual time in a digital presentation and shows the running seconds in a circle around it. It displays the time as what we call a studio clock.

Note for Oreo+ users (and haters of default wallpaper apps): Please use an alternative wallpaper picker app like Google Wallpaper to change the settings of the AndTheClock-app.

The current day and date can be optionally displayed. The date format can be adjusted to your local convention. You can make a choice from different fonts in the app or try the Surprise font applying every minute randomly one of the embedded fonts. Also different colors are used every 6 hours. You can select different color sets and make your own custom set. The background color can also be changed optionally combined with one of the available transparent textures. You can also use your own background image which can be selected from your gallery (must be less than 1 Mb). When desired you can change the text font and scale down the clock a bit (to a minimum of 60%).

An optional banner can show your battery level and the temperature of your device. It uses colors to highlight some different levels. You can also count and show your daily 'lookapps' to control your phonephilia. The number of times you activate your device are counted on daily base and displayed together with the average of the last seven days. The counter can also be expressed as a percentage of this average. Remember it just for fun and no one may judge from it (except yourself).

An optional news feed may show you the latest news as a ticker line on the position of the banner. You have to enter therefore the complete web-address of the news feed you like like "http://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/world/rss.xml". You can change the frequency times to repeat and max. number of items of the news feed line. You can save 3 addresses in order to switch easily when desirable. If the news feed is enabled it will be shown every time your screen gets unlocked and optionally every 2 5 10 or 15 minutes.

Remember that after you have downloaded the AndTheClock-app you need to install the app as a live wallpaper via a long press on an empty space of your Home screen. You cannot find the AndTheClock-app in your regular app directory because it is downloaded in a system directory of Android reserved for live wallpapers.
