The app facilitates the georeferencing of points the capture of
information in name + GPS coordinates format enough to geolocate
sets of points that can be polygons lines or individual points to
generate maps or plans (gMap screen). Make it easier for surveyors
to make scale drawings and collect data in a survey pad which is
done with pencil and paper (survey screen).
Save / Load / Export your projects
You can save the collected information in offline database. You can see the saved projects by selecting one you can decide whether to export to CVS files separated by commas that are stored in the GPS_Topography_Exported folder inside your internal storage. Or load them in to continue working with the app. These are the two red buttons at the top right of the screen.
Calculate coordinates areas distances angles and export your results to DXF TXT and PDF
Press the "Play button" (red in the lower right corner) to generate PDF TXT and DXF files. It presents all the information and allows the import to your favorite CAD program for the generation of maps and / or plans of your project. All three files are stored in one folder at a time saved in the "GPS_Topography_Projects" folder within its internal storage.
--------------------
GMaps screen:
1. You can draw individual polygons lines or points and you are asked to enter a name for each point.
2. It is made up of a Google map buttons and placeholders a triangular one that represents the user's current position and circular markers for the entered points.
3. The app centers the map on the user's position (triangular marker). You can disable / enable automatic centering by pressing the center button (black) at the bottom of the screen.
4. With the gray buttons on the right side you can choose between the polygon line or points. The selection of the mode will be reflected in the drawing and in the reports.
5. Capture information: you can capture your current position by pressing the white "add point button" at the bottom; Accuracy is presented at the top of the screen.
6. You can also capture the position of any point by pressing the map. A dialog is presented requesting a name for the point in order to link the name to the GPS point and then export to other programs to generate plans maps databases etc.
7. You can delete the last entered point by pressing the white "back button" at the bottom of the screen.
--------------------
Survey Screen:
1. What is it for: prepare a scale-to-scale drawing and its respective topographic notebook and print them on the screen to facilitate data collection during topographic surveys in the field carried out by both the azimuth and radiation conservation method and a combination of both.
2. Parts: work screen with black background and gray Cartesian plane with marks every twenty meters. Printed topographic notebook on screen always below the polygon.
3. Start: it is asked if the E-0 (starting point of the polygon) is part of the ending polygon (yellow) or not (blue). This is because surveying uses reference points in measurements where the measuring equipment is placed for example.
4. Information entry: to add points press the white "add point button" at the bottom.
5. Point type selection: the application must indicate whether the point it is entering is a station (measurement made by azimuth conservation) or radiation (measurement made with radiation). In addition to having to indicate if the observed point is part of the final polygon or not. Then you must enter the distance (in meters) and the azimuth in degrees minutes seconds and then save.
