The PHEV Watchdog App run's on an Android device and that has Bluetooth available.
If you have a location (GPS) this will add location and altitude data but it is not mandatory in order for the App to work.

You will also need a compatible OBD2 adapter so the App can connect to the OBD2 interface and collect data from the car.
