These features require root:
- Resolution changing (only android 4.3 and above require root).
- Navigation keys.

You can drag it anywhere on your screen and it'll patiently wait until you need it. It won't go away when you open or close applications. But if you think it distracts you from playing your favorite game you can long press it and it will stay in the notification bar instead.
