Learning English words with Fixiki. The educational application
developed specially for the children aged 5 and above is full of
animation and colourful graphics; both the characters and the tasks
are completely voiced and the interface is simple and
child-friendly.
• Over 100 words. The topics are as follows: numbers; colours; clothes; food; vegetables; fruit. The vocabulary is based on popular pre-school and primary school textbooks. The vocabulary and the number of topics are going to be extended.
• Learning is integrated with play. There are 15 mini games (they involve playing at shopping or going to a restaurant; games building and improving attention etc.) favourite characters colourful illustrations. The mini-games focus on learning English words.
• When completing a new level in the game children learn new words (theory) and do tasks aimed at testing the knowledge (practice).
• The audio recordings of the words are made by a native speaker with a clear and trained voice which helps children develop correct pronunciation from the very beginning.
• The system of awards and achievements involves children in learning and encourages them to achieve excellent results.
• In order to make English learning more entertaining we came up with an adventure. The characters of ‘Fixiki’ cartoon are building a city while learning English words. Let’s build the city together!
