Speaker Intercom allows users to broadcast audio live from their phone to accessible speakers 🔊. This includes Bluetooth speakers Google Cast devices and more.

The app also allows users to send audio to other devices that have the app installed and are connected to the same local network. This feature allows the app to be used as a Wi-Fi walkie talkie between peer devices. All requests to send audio to a peer device must be approved by the device that will be receiving the audio. If the receiving device does not approve the request from the sender the request will be rejected and the sender will not be able to send audio to the receiving device through the app. Users have the option to compile a list of approved devices that can send audio to it or the option to accept requests from any peer device connected to the same local network. The latter feature is disabled by default in the app settings but can be used to create an in-home intercom system using a group of peer devices.

The ability to send audio to peers or to receive audio from peers can be completely disabled in the app settings. Also audio can only be sent to a peer device while the device has the app running.
