L'Institut Fribourgeois d'Héraldique et de Généalogie a le plaisir
de vous proposer l'application Heraldica. Celle-ci vous permet de
rechercher des blasons à partir de critères de recherches tels que
meubles émaux attributs ... De plus un glossaire héraldique basé
sur le 'Dictionnaire des termes du blason' de J.B. Rietstap est
également à disposition.
Il est à noter que l'application a pour vocation de vous afficher des blasons et non la représentation graphique qu'est l'armoirie. Les blasons présents se concentrent pour l'instant sur la Suisse.
Une condition nécessaire à l'application est de disposer d'une connexion internet pour son utilisation.
Nous espérons que celle-ci vous permettra par exemple de mettre un nom sur un blason rencontré et inconnu de votre part.
Cette version permet également d'accéder à une collection d'armoiries et écus rapportés par nos utilisateurs. Ces objets sont accessibles via une carte géographique permettant de visualiser leur emplacement.
L'app est disponible en français allemand et italien.

The Friborg Institute of Heraldry and Genealogy is pleased to offer you the Heraldica application. This allows you to search for coats of arms using search criteria such as furniture enamels attributes ... In addition a heraldic glossary based on the 'Dictionary of the terms of the coat of arms' by J.B. Rietstap is also available.
It should be noted that the purpose of the application is to display coats of arms and not the graphic representation that is the coat of arms. The coats of arms present are currently focused on Switzerland.
A necessary condition for the application is to have an internet connection for its use.
We hope that this will allow you for example to put a name on a coat of arms encountered and unknown to you.
This version also provides access to a collection of coats of arms and shields reported by our users. These objects are accessible via a geographic map allowing to visualize their location.
The app is available in French German and Italian.
