The application also works seamlessly with Saab 9.3 Saturn Astra Chevrolet Cruze and various other GM-made models.
Please note that models like GrandLand-X and CrossLand-X are currently not supported as they belong to the PSA group and employ a different communication protocol. Kindly refrain from leaving a 1-star review due to the absence of this feature.
ScanMyOpelCAN Features:
- Native support for Electronic Control Units used in Opel/Vauxhall cars setting it apart from many other diagnostic applications that offer only limited generic OBDII support.
- Real-time monitoring of dynamic parameters for the engine automatic transmission ABS and other ECUs.
- Retrieval of static data including ECU identification fault codes with their current statuses and symptoms.
- Clearing of fault codes.
- Displaying additional information on trouble codes where applicable.
- Presenting nominal values of live data parameters where applicable.
- Visualizing live data parameters through charts (up to 5 charts simultaneously).
- Actuator tests available for selected ECUs.
Fault Code Status Meanings:
- Red: Present
- Yellow: Intermittent
- Green: Not Present
Attention!
Internet access is required each time the application is launched.
The ECU type is detected automatically and the actuator test lasts for 30 seconds stopping automatically. Users can halt the test at any time before the 30 seconds expire.
ScanMyOpelCAN supports ELM327-based Bluetooth interfaces on all Bluetooth-enabled Android devices.
Recommended BT Interfaces:
- OBDLinkMX
- Genuine ELM327 v2.0
- Genuine ELM327 v1.4 or its Chinese clones
Proper connection with Chinese versions of ELM327 other than 1.4 (v1.5 v2.1) is not guaranteed. Additionally China-made mini-OBD interfaces in general may not function properly.
