Pisti / Description

Pisti (pronounced "pishti") is a popular card game that originates from Turkey. It is known for its simple rules and fast-paced gameplay making it easy to learn and fun to play in social settings. The game can be played with 2 to 4 players using a standard 52-card deck. The objective is to capture cards with a point value and make "pistis" (singular: "pisti") which are special captures worth extra points. Here's a full description of how to play Pisti:

### Setup
1. **Players:** 2-4.
2. **Deck:** A standard 52-card deck is used.
3. **Dealing:** Each player is dealt four cards and four cards are placed face-down in the middle of the table. The top card of the remaining deck is then turned face-up and placed under the four cards in the center but its value should remain visible.

### Game Play
1. **Objective:** The aim is to capture cards from the center of the table. Cards have point values: Jacks (J) are worth 1 point Aces (A) are worth 1 point 2s are worth 2 points and 10s are worth 3 points. Other cards do not have a point value. Making a "Pisti" which is capturing the only card in the center with a matching rank card scores 10 points.

2. **Turns:** Players take turns clockwise. During a turn a player can play a card from their hand. If the card matches the rank of the last card in the center pile the player captures all cards in the center. If the card does not match it is added to the center pile.

3. **Pisti:** If the center pile has only one card and a player captures it with a matching card from their hand it is called a "Pisti." A regular Pisti is worth 10 points. If the Pisti is made with a Jack it is worth 20 points.

4. **Replenishing Hands:** Once all players have played their four cards they are dealt another four cards from the deck. This continues until the deck is exhausted.

5. **End of Round:** The round ends when there are no more cards in the deck and players have played all their cards. Players then count the points from the cards they have captured. If there are cards left in the center at the end they are captured by the last player who made a capture.

### Scoring
- The player with the most cards at the end of the game receives 3 points.
- The player with the most Aces receives 1 point.
- The player with the most 2s receives 2 points.
- The player with the most 10s receives 3 points.
- Points from Pistis are added to the player's total score.

### Winning
The game can be played over multiple rounds. The player with the highest total score at the end of the agreed number of rounds is declared the winner.

### Variations
There are variations in the rules depending on the region or group of players such as different scoring for certain cards or the number of rounds played. It's always a good idea to clarify the rules before starting a game in a new group.

Pisti is a quick and entertaining game that combines elements of luck and strategy making it a favorite in many cultures beyond Turkey.
