This "Communicator" app allows astronomical observers to
communicate with the robotic Burke-Gaffney and Abbey Ridge
Observatories located in Nova Scotia. These observatories are so
far was we know are the only observatories in the world that can be
controlled from Twitter Facebook SMS Text or using apps (available
for Android iOS Windows and MacOS).
With this app you can have a two way communication with the observatories either by voice or text (typed) messages. Simple commands can use plain text and more advanced commands have a more structured #hashtag syntax.
You can also view the history of your conversation and the observatories public messages and use a built in browser to quickly view related on-line resources. Images and web links that accompany observatory messages can be easily viewed.
